Leader Training
All adult leaders must comply with BSA Policy regarding training. This policy will be strictly adhered to at all times. Minimum training for all leaders who will be in contact with boys include:
- Youth Protection (available online)
- Cub Scout Leader Fast Start (available online)
Other training opportunities include
- Position Specific (Den Leader, Cubmaster, etc)
- Hazardous Weather Training (available online)
Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO)
Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) is a one-day training event that introduces leaders and parents to the skills needed to plan and conduct pack outdoor activities, particularly pack camping. This training is required for any adult who is in charge of planning a pack campout.
